Mungkin agak telat saya mengetahuinya. Rilis ini sendiri diluncurkan akhir tahun 2009 yang lalu, tepatnya 29 Desember 2009 (menurut distrowatch.com). Jujur, saya tertarik dengan OS ini karena tentu saja Ubuntu di sangkut pautkan :) Setelah hadirnya LinuxMint, Super OS ini juga menjanjikan tersedianya aplikasi tambahan seperti halnya LinuxMint yang support dengan bermacam-macam codec multimedia.
Menurut beberapa referensi yang sempat saya baca, Super OS ini dulu bernama Super Ubuntu dan mempunyai apt yang sama serta repsitory yang sama pula dengan Ubuntu. Tetapi, Super OS juga mempunyai repository sendiri sama halnya seperti LinuxMint :) Maaf kalau salah hehe. Berikut petikan dari Distrowatch:
